About
About dyslexia.vision
dyslexia.vision answers the questions dyslexic employees actually type into Google about work. Practical, evidence-based guidance and free tools — no advice that requires you to already be okay.
What this site is
dyslexia.vision is designed and developed by professionals with over 20 years of experience working with dyslexic adults — helping them understand their strengths and challenges, and find practical ways to work better. That experience shapes every answer on this site.
AI tools help research topics, draft articles, and check facts. A person reviews and approves every article before it goes live.
Who's behind this
Dyslexia creates specific, solvable problems at work. Most of the content that exists about dyslexia does not solve them. It raises awareness. It lists celebrities. It tells you to think differently.
This site does something else. It answers the question you typed in: whether to disclose, what the law actually says, how much an assessment costs, what Access to Work will and won't fund, which tools are worth the price. With numbers. With sources. With a direct answer at the top so you do not have to read to the end to find out if it is relevant.
The audience is dyslexic adults in employment — not HR departments, not parents, not teachers. The person sitting at their desk re-reading the email they wrote for the fifth time.
What we publish
The site publishes one article per day across eight formats: myth-busters that take a widespread belief and test it against data, toolkits with exact prices and settings, decision guides with clear calls by situation, rights updates on UK tribunal rulings and US EEOC cases, profession spotlights, Q&A articles, and scenario guides for specific work situations — meetings, appraisals, presentations, disclosure conversations.

What we are not
This site is not a clinical service. Nothing here is medical advice or legal advice. For live disputes, the signpost is always ACAS or an employment solicitor (UK) and the EEOC or an employment attorney (US).
We do not diagnose. If you suspect dyslexia, we point you toward a qualified assessor — a Patoss member assessor (UK) or a psychologist with SpLD specialism. We explain what assessment involves and what it costs. We do not tell you whether you are dyslexic.
Dyslexia is not a superpower and it is not a tragedy. It is a cognitive difference that creates specific, solvable problems at work. This site solves them with numbers, sources, and direct answers.
